CEAGESP also maintains the largest public system of warehouses, silos and bulk-carriers in the State of São Paulo. There are 19 units located next to the production poles and in their majority interconnected with the railway system, which connects to all regions of the State. This structure has the capacity to store over one million tons of farming products simultaneously.
In addition to grains such as corn, wheat, soy, sorghum, beans, coffee, etc, CEAGESP's storage units promote the storage of seeds, bran, pressed soy and citric products, sugar in bulk and packed products, cultivated or industrialized.
The grain warehouses render disposal, drying, cleaning and other services that contribute to the reduction of losses and raise product commercialization conditions.
Rural producers, government bodies, exporters and importers, cooperatives and production plants are among the list of CEAGESP clients, and it is accredited by the Brazilian Commodities and Futures Exchange to keep the goods of its clients. The Company also issues warrants that enable the financing of deposited stock.
